Students undertaking the Diploma of Music Course at UPSI participate in a developmentally staged course which prepares them for entry to one of the bachelor degrees offered by the university. The course aims to equip students to successfully negotiate the demands of a degree course, developing their skills in areas such as instrumental (traditional, Western, popular) and vocal performance, aural skills, as well as music theory and context classes.
