The Diploma in Music program offered at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Sultan Idris Education University aims to produce music graduates who are based on arts and culture in line with government policies.
The curriculum content of this program is formulated for individuals to develop their cognitive, affective and psychomotor potentials for strategic advancement from the diploma level to continue their studies not only to the Malaysian bachelor's level but also to higher levels such as masters and doctorates.
In line with the target of achieving lifelong learning, the implementation of a balanced curriculum in terms of music knowledge and skills will enable graduates who wish to pursue careers related to music in the future not only to deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of music, but also to improve their personal skills which will contribute significantly to the quality of their jobs and subsequently increase their career professionalism.
Intakes: Application for admission can be accessed via the Online Application through UPUOnline and the application is opened periodically between January to April each year (subject to amendment).
